Neil Mclean - A long-time resident of Fruitvale passed away at KBRH on January 11, 2018 with his family by his side at the age of 81. Neil was born June 6, 1936 in Kelvington, Saskatchewan. He moved to Fruitvale at an early age with his parents and siblings.
Neil was predeceased by his wife Anna (Buckley), his sister Irene and his brothers Darrel and Dereck. Neil is survived by his sister Glenda (Russ) his sons Ron and Len (Dona), his daughter Shelley (Sid), 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Neil spent most of his life in the trucking industry owning his own trucking company for over 40 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, curling, horses, playing his guitar with friends, barbeques, outings, camping with family and friends but his biggest joy was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Neil will be missed by family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
