July 8, 1946 - June 24, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce Fran's passing on June 24, 2021. Fran was born in Innisfail, Alberta on July 8, 1936 but grew up in Castlegar. She spent over 55 years living in Rossland with her husband Gary. She was a teacher for many years and later worked in Home Support in Trail. She was also involved with the Rossland Swimming Pool Society and Girl Guides.
Fran will be greatly missed by her daughters Kim (Kent), Karen (Randy), granddaughters Christine, Melissa and Jessica and sister Betty (Owen).
It is a great comfort to her family knowing that Mom is now with Dad as she missed him dearly.
Fran's family would like to thank the staff at Columbia View Lodge for their loving care.
A Celebration of Fran and Gary's lives will be held Aug 20, 2022 at Birch Bank Picnic Grounds. Andreas Schmitz of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
