In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that the Szabo family announces the death of Newton Szabo. Newton passed away unexpectedly at age 56 due to complications of a stroke.
He died on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023, at Kelowna General Hospital with his family by his side. His transition into the hands of God was peaceful.
Newton is survived by his wife of 33 years, Michelle, son Ethan, daughter Taylor, son-in-law Derrick, grandson Luke, mother Marika, father Joe, brother Attila, and sister-in-law Anja.
Newton was born and raised in Trail and loved the outdoor life of skiing and hockey. He loved the adventure of his motorcycle. He was dedicated to his work at Rona Maglio’s and passionate about his music and band Empire of Nothing.
Though he was only on earth for a short time, he is remembered every day by his friends and family.
There will be a service to remember Newton in Spring/Summer 2024.
