KRAUSE, OLIVE MARY – passed away on September 18, 2011 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. She was born March 9, 1922 in Trail where she resided all her life.

For decades, Olive enjoyed square dancing, round dancing and camping with husband Tony and their many friends. Her quick wit and sense of humor were regularly enjoyed by her many acquaintances.

Olive is survived by daughters Cheryl (John) Fraser of Burnaby and Patti (Bob) Mitchell of Trail; grandchildren Jenni (John), Kerri (Erin), Andy (Lynn), Ryan (Aynsley), Amy (Scott); great-grandchildren Samantha, Aevyn and Rovan, and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her husband Tony in 1980, her sister Marjorie Rogers in 1993 and her brother Jack Halifax in 2009.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ is entrusted with arrangements.
