Pauline Popoff passed away peacefully October 7, 2010 with family at her side. She leaves behind her loving family; daughters Sharon (Doug) Deyotte, Linda (Neil) Bauder; brother Alex; sister Jane; grandchildren Alex (Leanne), Clark, Jeffrey (Shyla), Ronnie and the twins (identical twin great grandchildren on the way); many nephews and nieces. She will be missed by all.
Pauline was born at Champion Creek, BC July 23, 1929 and lived her life at the family homestead near Champion Lake. A meticulous and proud woman, Pauline was a homemaker with an avid love of gardening. She cared for her family deeply and expressed her love with a cheerful smile and wonderful cookies and cakes. She was predeceased by her parents, Lucy and Alex Popoff Sr; her brother Peter and her sister Ann. Funeral services will be held at Castlegar Funeral Chapel on Tuesday October 12 from 10 am to noon followed by interment at Boulder Creek Cemetery in Salmo.
