Phyllis May Coupland passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 8, 2017. She was born in Scotland on June 27, 1919. A special thanks to the staff and residents at Chateau Manor for all they did for her during her residence there. A big thanks to the staff at Talarico Place, Castlegar, for all their kindness and care in her final days.
She leaves behind her daughter Georgia (Allan), her son Forbes (Joanne), granddaughters; Hillary and Laura (Geary) and two great-grandsons Noah and Louy, as well her sister Heather Wilkinson and several nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was a long-time member of the Presbyterian Church, and an avid bowler in earlier years. She loved their cabin at Christina Lake, and spent many happy years there.
A private funeral will be held at later date. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
