Oct 11, 1954 - Nov 9, 2017
Raymond George Price - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond George Price after a very courageous two and a half year battle with cancer.

Ray was a wonderful husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was born on October 11, 1954 in Regina, SK and passed away peacefully in Trail, BC on November 9, 2017.

Survived by his wife and best friend Laurie, the pride and joy of his life his daughter Cayla (Riley), brother Alan, in-laws Danny and Georgette Bradford, Cindy and Tony Shaw, Denise and Keith Neil, Bobby and Shawna Bradford, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

Predecessed by his parents George and Alma Price, sister Donna, and in-laws Maggie and Kitty Bradford.

Ray moved to Trail in 1972 to work at Cominco followed by Celgar and Quadra Chainsaw Factory. He then started a 40 year career in the building supply industry at Schneiders building supply / Maglios building supply and finally Home Hardware until he became ill in 2015.

Ray spent fifteen years volunteering with the Trail Figure Skating Club even after Cayla no longer was skating because it was always all about the kids. He also enjoyed canvassing for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, even when he found it

difficult to do so, he never let his illness stop him.

We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Dr. Smith, Dr. Scotland, all the staff at the KBRH and Kiro Wellness Center, BC Ambulance Attendants and First Responders.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in Ray's name may be made to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital Health Foundation (Oncology Unit) at 1200 Hospital Bench, Trail, BC, V1R 4M1 or online at www.kbrhhealthfoundation.ca

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Warfield Community Hall on Thursday, December 14th, 2017 at 11:00 am with Liz Berglund officiating.
