Jul 1, 1942 - Mar 1, 2018
Ray was born on July 1st, 1942 in Trail BC and passed away March 1st, 2018 at home in Trail with his family by his side.

He is predeceased by his father Roland Harrison and mother Nora (Austad) Harrison.

He is survived by his wife Sharon, his children Linnea (Heather), Jed (TJ), Auren, Zach (Jaime); his step children, Jaimee (Matt), Cameron, Hilary (Justin); his grandchildren Jaeda and Melina, Beckett and Maze, Phoenix and Sierra, Elena, Ayla and Reimi; his siblings Hal (Trish), Walt, Nora (Max), Lance (Becky), Bob (Judy), Margo (Rick), Art (Susanne) and many family and friends.

Ray was a carpenter by trade but a putterer at heart. If you could not find him in the house, then he would be out in his shop working on something, no matter the season. His words would be that he was puttering around. He did what he could to keep his mind fresh: working with wood, solving crosswords, painting, taking photographs and walking his dogs.

Ray loved all of his family very much. Even in the depths of dementia, his love was there, with the urge to sooth a crying granddaughter or just holding his wife's hand and smiling.

A special thanks to the late Dr. Toews, Dr. Smith and all the wonderful people at Home Support who enabled Ray to stay at home with his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Raymond's birthday, July 1st 2018; please contact the family for further details.
