After a lengthy battle with cancer it is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and sister.
Reta was born in Trail, BC, grew up on Shavers Bench, and graduated from JL Crowe in 1960. Shortly after she married her husband Harry, settling in Montrose and raising their two children. During these years she enjoyed the ladies bowling league, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Art and Nancy; brothers Jack and Emil; son-in-law Robert; nephew Jason; aunts and uncles; and in-laws.
Reta is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Harry; son Burke (Doreen); daughter Ragan. Granddaughter Renae (Chris), great-granddaughter Rylee; granddaughter Catherine (Shawn), great-granddaughter Mia; grandson Randy; granddaughter Jenna, great-granddaughter Harlow; sister Betty and family; brother Roy and family, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Thank you to the staff at CVL for the care during the toughest last few months.
