Endersby: Richard Keith passed away peacefully at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on October 12, 2010. He was born in Trail on March 11, 1942.
Richard grew up in Fruitvale and lived in Meadows for many years. He moved to the Castlegar area about 16 years ago where he drove school bus for several years. Richard loved the outdoors and farming, and especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by Esther, his wife of 38 years. His three daughters: Cindy (Doug), Jennifer (Cal), and Pam (Murray). Grandchildren: Alexa, Samantha, Amaya, Clayton, and Noah who will dearly miss their “Grumpy”. Brothers: Stan (Lorraine), Donald (Virginia), and Allan (Agnes); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his late wife Clara, son Lyle, his mom and dad, sister Eileen, and brother Bernard.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Castlegar Legion on Saturday October 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Al Grywacheski of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
