Born February 1, 1953, Trail, BC. Rod spent his life in Trail, working at Teck Cominco for 35 years, until his retirement in August 2014. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, loved cars and airplanes, and spent most of his time with his children and grandchildren. He passed away suddenly in Trail on September 21, 2016. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Rod was predeceased by his father Fred Dann, mother Rosie (Adams), his sister Carol Mohoruk (Rich) and his sister-in-law Faye Dann (Fred). He is survived by his three daughters, Tammy Chabot (Darren), Tina Rieberger (Garry) and Amy Druitt (Nigel); six grandchildren: Cassie Chabot, Amanda Lipke, Matthew Chabot, Jaina Druitt, Ian Druitt and Connor Druitt; and brothers Fred Dann, Wally Dann (Fay) and sister Helene West, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Knox Hall, located at the Trail United Church, 1300 Pine Ave., Trail, BC. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
