Was born in Trail, BC on June 28, 1928, and passed away peacefully on July 8, 2021, in Trail.
He is predeceased by his wife Rita, and his daughter Rhonda.
He is survived by his grandson Nathan (Brenda), several nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law Leo (Lorraine).
Ron enjoyed his nearly 35-year career at Fortis. In his retirement years he loved to spend time with his family on his property in Rosspur. He had so much fun travelling to Las Vegas for 10 + years with Rita and Nate, he and Nate also had many adventures together hiking, off roading and prospecting. But most of all he enjoyed his daily treks down to the library; getting to know everyone whom he passed by.
Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 10:00am at the Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
