In loving memory ~
With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Rosalind Colleen Marie Kozlowski (nee Legare) on February 21, 2023, at the age of 76. Rosalind passed away at Parkwood Intermediate Care Home in Prince George, B.C. where she spent her final 5 years in a protracted battle with Alzheimer's.
Born in Mistatem, Saskatchewan, Rosalind moved with her family at the age of 2 to Rossland, B.C. where she spent her early childhood and teen years. She married Ken Kozlowski (1943 - 2008) in 1965. They settled in the Trail area where they raised their family and she worked at the Trail Regional Hospital until retirement.
Rosalind's love of family was first and foremost in her life. She will be most remembered for being a loving mother and wife and tolerating things such as camping as long as her family was together. She did, however, discover golf later in life and developed a minor obsession. Never to be overly good, she gained great satisfaction when the professionals on TV put their balls in the water. She even laughed out loud.
Rosalind will be lovingly remembered by her children Duane (Valorie) and Lisa (Troy) Wisted; 4 grandchildren Laurissa (Tyrel), Mathew (Jamie), Roman, and Natasha; great-grandchildren Ellie and Emberlyn; sisters Maureen, Elsie, and Caroline; brothers Robert and Eugene; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ken; parents Adrian and Florence Legare; brothers Freddie, Eddie, and Tim & sister Frieda.
Mom, we all knew we were loved, and we all loved you back.
