Roy Clarke

June 21, 1935 - August 3, 2018
Roy Clarke was born in England on June 21, 1935 and passed away suddenly on August 3, 2018 with his family by his side.

Roy is survived by his wife Emilie, son Neil, daughters; Karen (Dave) Booth and Dawn (George) Clarke, brother-in-law Gerald (Kathy) Lee, sister-in-law Doreen Lypchuk, many nieces and nephews and several brothers and sisters in England. He was predeceased by his father, mother and one sister, all of England.

He will be forever missed by his grandchildren; Alissa, Zach, Kelsey, Holly and James as well as his great-grandchildren; Bella and Finley. Each one of them gave him so much joy.

Roy worked hard his entire life, finding employment with several local companies including Korpack, Trail Transit, Emcon and Waneta Plaza. He formed many friendships wherever he went.

Retirement found Roy enjoying daily coffee with the guys, Tuesday lunch group at the Colander and relaxing in his backyard.

The family would like to thank the incredible ICU team and all the doctors and nurses at KBRH who cared for Roy throughout this past year.

A Celebration of Roy's life will be held at the Trail Canadian Legion Branch #11 on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Brent Long of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Service has been entrusted with arrangements.
