Was born on November 19, 1940 in Vancouver, BC and passed away peacefully on February 1, 2019 in Trail, BC.
He is survived by his wife Colleen, his children Maureen (David) and Mark (Billie) and his three grandchildren Noah, Joshua and Cierra.
Roy loved his years of playing slo-pitch with the Trail Seniors, especially while playing in the summer games.
He was proud to have been in the Royal Canadian Navy for ten years before joining the American Armed Forces and serving in Vietnam. Roy became a Legion member in 1964 and joined the Trail Legion in 1972.
