It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Silda on November 7, 2012. Silda was born in Trail, B.C. on February 21, 1923 and spend most of her life in Trail.
Silda was predeceased by her beloved husband, Art, her parents Carmela (Picone) and Domenic Pisacreta, sister Shirley, sister-in-law Duly, brothers Tristo, Noro, Gordie and Roger.
She is survived by her daughter Sandy (Tom) Hart and their children Brent of Calgary, Trevor (Belinda) of Trail and Valere of Vancouver; her son Jay (Robbie) of Victoria and their children Adam (Courtney) of Victoria and Leah (Barrett) of Marina Del Ray, CA; great-grandchildren Alexander and Molly Coffin, and Alexandra Hart; sisters-in-laws Anne Pisacreta of Trail, Evelyn Shackleford of Victoria and Susan Nastasi of North Vancouver.,
Silda loved spending time with her family and friends, her church and her care givers at Rosewood. She also spend many hours knitting for others.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held At Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 9:00 a.m., Father Jim McHugh, Celebrant.
