DeJERSEY, Sylvia 1955-2016. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Aunty Sylvia on Sept. 4, 2016. Sylvia was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba on January 30, 1955. She was the third of six children and in her teenage years she moved out west to BC with her family to settle in Salmo. After high school Sylvia chose to move away from the small town life and wanted to experience the thrills of life in the big Cities of Vancouver and Calgary. She worked in various labour forces until returning to Trail to work for Cominco and then proceeded to pursue a career in nursing, which lead to a position with Interior Health. Sylvia returned to her home town of Salmo where she lived with her common-law spouse Ely and they spent many of summers enjoying camping at the Three Islands Camp ground at Summit Lake with all of her family. Sylvia is predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Beryl, her spouse Ely, and her brother David. She is survived by her brother Allan (Angie), her sisters: Margaret (Al), Yvonne (Sean), and Faye (Bob), as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sylvia will be sadly missed by all.
