“Terry” was born June 22, 1928 in Fife, BC, and attended high school and business college in Trail. She was employed at Trail City Hall for ten years prior to her marriage to Les in 1959. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church and a member of the Catholic Women’s League and the Sisters of Colombo. Theresa always enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Trail and Christina Lake and will be remembered for her smile and laugh, her interest in and care for others and her love of games and cooking.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband Leslie, parents Olinto and Giuseppina, and brothers Albert and George. She is survived by her son, Steven, daughter-in-law Sharon, grandchildren Leah and Neil, niece Bette and nephews David, Robert, Gordon, John and Gary.
Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 12th, 2015 at Holy Trinity Parish with Father Bart van Roijen, Celebrant. Interment will follow on a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Forks.
Theresa’s family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Point Grey Private Hospital, and Dr. Peter Grantham, for the exceptional care they provided to her in Vancouver over the past several years.
