In Loving Memory ~
Thomas Benjamin Goulden passed away suddenly in Colville, Washington on May 24, 2022
Wife Patricia was hoping for another forty years together, but a massive heart attack during a visit to Colville Washington said it was not to be.
Tom was born in Guelph Twp, Ontario in 1944, and moved with his family to a small farm at Swastika near Kirkland Lake in 1957.
Tom was known for great stories about his days as a miner, diamond driller, factory worker, truck driver and finally as jack-of-all-trades at Speedway Salvage in Salmo. Despite mobility issues he was determined not to use wheels. Between his four-legged walker and his "Salmo dinner jacket" Tom really stood out.
Tom is survived by his wife Patricia; brothers Don (Anita), Ron (Linda) and Dan (Michelle); sisters Betty (Roy) and Pat; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Florence, and by his older brother Cliff (Clara).
No memorial service is planned. Donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
