With broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Todd Lawrence McLaughlin on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2021 with his sister Tracy by his side at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.
Todd fought a very courageous five year long battle with cancer. He was 53 years old.
Todd was a loving son, brother, father, nephew, cousin, brother-in-law and dear friend to so many.
He is predeceased by his father Larry, Nonno Charles Blaihut, Nonna Lorna Blaihut, Uncle Lino Colangeli, Lonnie Plasko, Uncle Kurtis Blaihut, Uncle Mario Colangeli and Uncle Giovanni Colangeli.
Todd is survived by his mother Wendy, sister Tracy (Denis), daughter Caylee, mother and grandmother of Caylee; Amy and Cheryl, Aunt Sandra Colangeli (Tom), cousins Lisa (Gord) Douglas, Gianna Colangeli (Rick), Aunt Beverly (Rod) Dorman, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and much-loved extended family and friends.
Our family would like to thank the 3rd floor doctors, nurses and staff at KBRH for the wonderful care that they provided for Todd.
We would also like to thank Dr. Aiken, Dr. Scotland, Dr. Saucic, Kelly and the Oncology nurses, Jim Maniago, Debbie Sinclair, Jay & Carolyn Ross, Jill Hewitt, BC Ambulance and Paramedics, Home Support and Andreas Schmitz, Tracy Wicentowich and the staff of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation ServicesTM for their compassion and guidance.
At Todd's request there will not be a funeral service; cremation has taken place.
