Dr. Trudi Toews of Rossland, BC passed away on January 6th at the age of 69. She waged her war against cancer with perseverance, determination, humour and dignity.
She was humble, a mentor, source of strength and information, healer of bodies and souls, a lover of life, the outdoors, powder days and the heart of her family.
Trudi will be dearly missed by her loving husband Cedric, her sons Robin (Ann) and David, her step-daughters Michelle (Jeff), Ashley (Kyle) and Jessica (Dan), her grandchildren Sophie, Charlie, Sarah and Justine, her siblings Laura, Ben, and Phyllis, and all the people whose lives she touched.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, January 14th at 3:00 pm in the Rossland Miners Hall with Gwen Ziprick, Celebrant.
For those unable to attend, there will be a celebration of her life this summer. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
