Valarie Handley

June 7, 1936 - July 30, 2019
Was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on June 7th 1936 and passed away on July 30th, 2019 at the Kootenay Boundary Hospital in Trail, BC with her family by her side.
Predeceased by her husband Frank in June of 1972, and also by her grandchildren Matthew in 2011, Nolan in 2014 and Teresa in 2016.
Valarie is survived by her sons; Lawrence (Sherry), Allan (Sonia), Roger (Natalie) and her daughter Tanya (Brian), her sister, Norma MacDonald and brother Alex (Audrey)
MacDonald, her grandchildren; Jason, Tania, Alana, Amy and Dustin and great-grandson Timmy.
She loved to cook for company, travel with friends, spend time in the garden or paint with water colours. She will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 3:00pm at Carberry's Chapel; 1298 Pine Ave, Trail, BC with Liz Berglund officiating.
