July 1, 1957 - December 30, 2022
It is with heavy hearts and sorrow to announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather Bill, with Bonnie by his side, on December 30th, 2022 after a lengthy illness.
Bill was born and raised in Rossland where he spent most of his time pursuing his love of the outdoors. He was an avid telemark skier, windsurfer and mountain biker. Huckleberry picking and camping were always at the top of the list next to his passion for Red Mountain.
Bill worked for the Department of Highways and Emcon until his retirement in 2014.
Bill is survived by his wife Bonnie of 44 years, son Reg, daughter Emily, grandson Ronin and sister Jo-Anne Monahan (Mel), sister-in-law Carol Langman and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Reg and Elsie and his brother Joe.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Kole Roth of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
We would like to thank the staff at Columbia View Lodge for the care of Bill over the past 2.5 years.
