William H. Ross (Howard) born April 2, 1923 and passed away November 25, 2016 after a short illness. Howard lived a full life with over 30 years of retirement from Cominco. He was a pilot in England during WWII. In 1966, he went to India to help with the development of a Cominco plant. He was involved with Air Cadets for many years as Commander of the 531st Squadron. He was an avid duplicate bridge player and he spent many enjoyable summers at Christina Lake. He was predeceased by his daughter, Diana, in 1995; his parents, James and Lottie Ross; brother, Alvin; and sister Margaret. Howard is survived by his wife Margaret. They had just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. He is also survived by his two sons, David (Ruby) and Richard (Lori); his grandchildren Ross, Julie, Jeremy and Megan; his four great grandkids; his brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Barb; and numerous nieces and nephews. Howard was a kind, gentle man with a love for life. Everybody knew Howie. He will be forever missed.

By request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place and there will be a small family service at a later date.
