Ken was born on November 5, 1928, in Coalhurst, Alberta and passed away on February 5, 2022 at Talarico Place in Castlegar, B.C.
He was predeceased by his wife Shirley.
Ken is survived by his daughters Debbie Taylor (husband Scott), Heather Stevenson (husband John), his two grandsons Cam Taylor (wife Natsumi), Dean Taylor (wife Kristina), and his 4 great grandchildren Kohei, Hiro, Kai, and Layla. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Carol LeRose.
Ken was a hockey and lacrosse player as a young man and an avid curler in his later years.
After retiring from a career at Cominco, he cherished time spent fishing from his boat on the Arrow Lakes or enjoying his backyard pool with wife Shirley by his side.
