I would like to comment on the May 6, 2011 issue of your paper.
The article written by Dave Thompson (Buying local one step in bridging division, May 6) was completely horrendous. Did your paper actually read this article?
I can’t imagine any person would allow this type of bashing of their local areas to be published, it was insulting and unfair to the Rossland community.
This “professional” writer should stick to hockey scores and your paper and Mr. Thompson owe the people of Rossland and the people of Trail a huge apology.
If this is the type of news your paper finds worthy of publishing, I know my family will no longer be reading your paper.
