I am outraged that the area along the Columbia River past the old bridge in Trail has been sprayed with herbicides.
This is an area that many people, children and their dogs walk along daily.
Herbicide and pesticide use has been linked to compromised immune system diseases including types of cancers.
A presentation in Rossland last year put on by the local branch of the Canadian Cancer Society convinced me of the danger these herbicides pose to our health and yet because of “noxious” plants our families and pets health are threatened.
