Another Silver City Days has come and gone and I would like to thank all those who worked so hard and long to make it the success it was – in spite of the weather.
The organizers, the people who manned the booths, the entertainers, the fire department, the parade participants and so on.
I would like to thank the festival society and in particular Sharlene Dee, Karen Lyall and their lovely children who organized the Seniors Dance in the gym on Thursday.
They not only ran it, but on their own made a lovely light lunch with the children clearing the tables and seeing to our needs.
The dance was a real success and I hope that it will be an annual event.
Thank you to all who not only worked but came to the Silver City Days.
