I can’t believe that city council thought about how the reconstruction of the main highway through town was going to affect traffic flow.
At shift change at Teck (3:30, 4 p.m.) going through town is a nightmare. Cars backed up to the Teck main gate, and also to the beginning of Rossland Avenue.
Some of us know our way through the back streets and managed to get around, but what happens if there is an emergency, and the rescue vehicles can’t get around the traffic?
What happened to the right turn lane onto the highway (by Trail Times on Cedar Ave.)?
