River impacted from both sides of border

"The Columbia River may flow south but there are problems with fisheries on both sides of the border."

We in Trail keep hearing about Americans condemning Teck Resources for polluting the Columbia River in the past and present.

Yet the Canadian Federal and Provincial governments do nothing about U.S.A polluting the river with introduced foreign fish species ie. bass, walleye and pike. Salmon are no longer in our portion of the Columbia River because of American dams.

The Columbia River may flow south but there are problems with fisheries on both sides of the border.
