WOW - What a day! March 12 was, 50 years later honouring the 1961 world champion Trail Smoke Eaters.
Those that attended will treasure it forever and to those that unfortunately weren’t able to, let’s talk.
Sincere thanks to the organizing committee, Teck, the Trail Historical Society and the proclamation by Mayor Dieter Bogs that made this day so memorable for everyone.
Lastly, to the ‘61 Smoke Eaters and their families: “Thanks for the memories” and all your contributions that have made us the “Home of Champions.”
