Many readers of the Times, I’m sure, will regret to see editor Tracy Gilchrist leave (Tuesday column, Saying Goodbye Tough After So Long).
Over the years it became obvious that the many in this community that wrote letters in support of some worthy cause could always count on her support and help.
For her sympathetic ear - or should that be ‘eye’ - over the years that she was here, a big thank-you is well deserved.
I’m sure not to be alone in wishing her lots of success in her new venture.
