Why has council been able to purchase our local airport without the input of the taxpayer?
Why has the development of a library/museum building been before taxpayers numerous times for input and discussion?
I am in favour of both the airport purchase and the building of a new library/museum. I just wonder why, as far back as 2005 and maybe longer, there have been public meetings and opinion polls concerning a new library/museum but I don’t remember being asked about buying the airport.
Are airports more glamorous while libraries are just for intellectuals? I’m joking, but I’d like to know.
