Atoms hit Rossland

Atom teams from around the Kootenays and Okanagan are descending on Rossland this weekend.

Atom teams from around the Kootenays and Okanagan are descending on Rossland this weekend for the Rossland Trail Minor Hockey Association’s annual Atom house tournament.

The Rossland-Trail Grizzlies and Wings will host squads from Summerland, Cranbrook, Castlegar, Nelson, and Beaver Valley with games starting Friday at 3:30 p.m. and the final game going Sunday at 1:45 p.m. at the Rossland Arena.

The Atom division is comprised of 9-and 10-year-old players and the house league tournament expects up to 300 participants and spectators to attend. All games will be at the Rossland Arena.
