Events and classes put on by Beaver Valley Recreatoin

Beginner Softball Pre-Mites is for girls aged 5-6. Instructed by Sydney Cicchetti, it is an excellent introduction to the basics of softball and will prepare them for Mite Softball.  May 5 – June 23 from 4-4:45 p.m. at Lower Lewis in Fruitvale.  $30.

Cooking without Mom for ages 9-14, instructed by certified chef Lee Ballantyne, is on Saturdays with a new session beginning May 10 from 10 a.m.-noon.  This class is located at the Montrose Hall and is $125 for five classes.

Serving It Right goes Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at the Fruitvale Hall Club Room.  Cost is $45.  Serving it Right is necessary for all establishments and events that serve alcohol.  Please register by calling 364-5770.
