The Beaver Valley Skating Club’s Bree Fitzpatrick was honoured with the Program Assistant of the Year Award for the Kootenay Region for her outstanding work volunteering with the B.V. Skating Club. Jayci Halifax won the Canskater of the Year award for her hard work and dedication on the CANSkate, Learn to Skate Program. The skaters were presented their awards at the Kootenay Region AGM in Creston on Saturday. The B.V. Skating Club will hold their Banquet and AGM at the Red Stone Resort on May 4.
