BC Minor Hockey Provincials Midgets still in it

The Rossland-Trail Tier-2 Midget team remains undefeated.

In other provincial hockey championship action the Rossland-Trail Tier-2 Midget team remains undefeated while the pee wee tier 2 and Bantam Wildcats suffered a loss in their opening match.

The Rossland-Trail Midget AA reps got off to a good start with Kyle Shannon leading the way with two goals as they took out Cranbrook 6-4 in their opening match.

In Monday’s game the R-T Midgets beat Aldergrove 6-3. The two wins ensures them a spot in the playoff round but will face off against Saanich today to complete round-robin action.

The Rossland-Trail Tier-2 Pee Wee team dropped their first game of provincial 6-3 to Penticton before tying Williams Lake 6-6 today. R-T pee wees were leading 6-4 after two but two third-period goals by Williams Lake tied it. Noland Lee led the team with a pair of goals and an assist. The pee wees play Mission today at 9 a.m.

The Bantam Female Wildcats lost a close match to North Shore 3-0 Sunday. The Cats played Prince George late Monday night and will take on South Island in two must-win games.
