BCHL - Kings and Vipers set to meet in final again

For the third-straight year, the Powell River Kings and Vernon Vipers will meet for the BCHL championship.

Dylan Walchuk scored four goals as Vernon defeated Salmon Arm 5-4 on Friday to win the Interior Conference title 4-2.

Meanwhile, Powell River eliminated the Surrey Eagles with a 4-1 win on Friday to claim the Coastal Conference title.

Trail’s Steve Koshey assisted on the lone Eagles’ goal.

Vernon defeated Powell River in six games in 2009 and seven games last year.
