Kids Garage Sale is on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Montrose Hall. The hall will be filled with baby and children’s quality used clothes, toys, books and furniture.
Babysitting Course with Amanda Harding will be offered this Monday and Tuesday from 2:30 to 6:30 pm at the Fruitvale Elementary School Library. Cost is $65 per child. Minimum age is 11 years old.
Ladies Beginner Belly Dance classes, instructed by Barbara Stang, is on Tuesday evenings at the Montrose Hall from 7-8:30 pm. The next session goes April 30 to June 18 with May 14 in the basement. Chito-Ryu Karate, instructed by Sensei Scott Hutcheson. Classes are 4-5 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, May 1 to June 12 at Fruitvale Elementary School gym and Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 18, 20, 25, 27 at the Fruitvale Hall. The instructor is a registered certified Black Belt with NCCP coaching and a member of KarateBC and SportBC.
Home Alone with Amanda Harding, will be on Thursday, May 9 from 3-6 p.m. at the Fruitvale Elementary School Library. Cost is $15.
