The Morehouse and Nichol rinks are on a collision course of undefeated teams as they continued their run at Kootenay Savings Super League title Thursday at the Trail Curling Club.

Brad Morehouse and his young team from Castlegar continues to impress early this season, as they knocked off Rob Ferguson’s rink 8-4.

Morehouse made many spectacular shots throughout the game, for a well deserved win.

Castlegar’s Myron Nichol rink was relentless in their game with Rose Beauchamp’s Maglio Ladies team, stealing five consecutive ends in a 9-1 win.

Russ Beauchamp’s Maglio Men’s squad was firing on all cylinders, as they cruised to 9-3 victory over the Ken Fines rink from Trail. Beauchamp put lots of rocks in play, and had the Fines team in trouble nearly every end.

In the last match of the day Desiree Schmidt battled back from an early deficit and scored two in the final frame to tie Fred Thomson’s 5N Plus rink 6-6.

The Super League continues Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the Trail Curling Club.
