Scott Jacklin was recognized by the NCAA’s Atlantic Hockey Association (AHA) for his great play for Robert Morris University Colonials for the second straight week.

Jacklin, who played for the Trail Smoke Eaters for over two seasons, received Rookie of the Week honours last week and again this week after scoring a goal in his fifth-straight game to tie the Colonials program record.

The RMU newcomer tallied four points (three goals, one assist) in a two-game sweep of the Sacred Heart Pioneers over the weekend.

The Kimberly native scored twice in a 10-4 win on Saturday and potted a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win against the Pioneers the previous night.

The Colonials remain undefeated during Jacklin’s five-game scoring streak.

Jacklin leads the Colonials in scoring and ranks fourth in the AHA with six goals this season.
