Rossland Trail Country Club golfer Brian DeBiasio finished in the top-10 at the B.C. Senior Men’s Championship in Squamish Thursday.
DeBiasio sat in third spot after carding a 74 on Tuesday and in fifth with a 77 Wednesday only three strokes back of the leader on the par-72 Squamish Valley Golf and Country Club.
In the final round Thursday, the Nelson resident dropped one birdie to go with five bogies and 12 pars, to finish with a 76, five back of the lead but good for sixth spot in the tournament.
Port Moody’s Gudmund Lindbjorg shot a 3-under 69 to take the championship while Trail’s Al Dafoe, out the Redstone club, shot a final 79 to finish tied for 47th.
