Pan Am Games Gold medal winner and Fruitvale native Chris Kissock drops the puck for his old team the Beaver Valley Nitehawks before they skated to a win over the Penticton Lakers Friday. Kissock was recognized by the team and the Village of Fruitvale’s new mayor, Patricia Cecchini for his accomplishments at the IBAF World Cup and the Pan Ams. Joining Kissock at centre ice was Penticton forward Derek Grimm, Hawks assistant coaches and former teammates Jeremy Cominotto and Kris Boyce, Mayor Cecchini and Nitehawk captain Chris Derochie.
