The Trail nine-and-10-year-old All Stars baseball team ended the Minor Little League season on a bronze note in Colville on the weekend.
The All Stars beat Spokane North 12-7 in the third-fourth game to take bronze in their final tournament of the season.
Trail opened the tournament with a 16-6 victory over Rathdrum. However, despite a great effort against Chewelah, the All Stars would come up short in a 12-11 loss.
Their next game against Tri County was a must win with the victor advancing to the semifinal. This time the All Stars prevailed, squeezing out a 9-8 victory to advance.
The Trail team would falter against a strong Orifino squad in the semis, but come back with the big win over Spokane North in the bronze medal game.
