Midgets advance

The Rossland-Trail Tier II Midget Reps have joined their younger brethren in booking spots at their respective provincials.Last night at the Cominco Arena, the Midget Reps scored a 14-4 win over Nelson to sweep their first-to-four-points playoff 4-0.The team won the series opener in Nelson 7-3. With the victory, the Reps will head to the B.C. Tier II championships in Salmon Arm in March.See REPS, Page 14FROM PAGE 13Meanwhile, two other Rossland-Trail squads  are also headed to provincial playoffs.The Bantam Reps were the sole West Kootenay team vying for a berth at the Tier II provincials in Fort St. John.The Pee Wee Reps grabbed the regional berth in their Tier II provincials, slated for Aldergrove, with a 4-3 win over Nelson on Saturday to sweep their series.The team took the first game 6-5.
