The Beaver Valley Nitehawks continued rolling along on Wednesday, with a convincing 7-3 win over the Spokane Braves at the Beaver Valley Arena.

The dynamic duo of Dallas Calvin and Dan Holland teamed up for seven points, and 15 in the last two games, to lead the Hawks.

Calvin had a four point night with a goal and three assists while Holland had two goals and a helper.

Beaver Valley jumped out to a 4-0 lead on goals by Nick Perez, Riley Brandt, and a pair from Russell Mortlock.

After a Spokane goal at the end of the second, the Hawks stretched it to 6-1 early in the third, on goals from Calvin and Holland. Spokane’s leading goal scorer Dylan Tappe would get back-to-back markers for the Braves but the final result was never in doubt as Holland added an empty netter to ice it 7-3.

The Nitehawks take a break until next week when they play a home-and-home with Castlegar Dec. 28 and 29.
