Around 300 novice hockey players lace up the skates at the Cominco Arena this weekend as Rossland-Trail Minor Hockey Association drops the puck on its 23rd annual tournament.
Senior and Junior Novice Teams from Beaver Valley, Castlegar, Creston, Grand Forks, Nelson and the RTMHA will play three games each over the course of three days.
A dozen Senior Novice teams will play on the big ice while seven Junior Novice teams face off on the Kid’s Rink starting Friday evening and finishing up Sunday afternoon.
