The Greater Trail AA Pee Wee Smoke Eaters were unable to capitalize on a number of good opportunities including this breakaway attempt against Winfield on Saturday, falling 3-2 and missing a chance at the final on Sunday. Ultimately, it was Campbell River who won the tournament title with a 5-0 win over Salmon Arm, a team the Smokies beat 3-2 in the round robin. Trail would finish strong however with a 5-4 consolation win over Spokane.
