Discover Dance is a new dance program that introduces children ages 3 to 6 to the basics of ballet, jazz, modern, and tumbling. Group 1 is for ages three to four and runs Tuesday’s from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. Group 2 is for ages five to six and runs Tuesday’s from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Both at the Trail Memorial Centre McIntyre Room with instructor Richele Wright.
Stand Strong is a new program for girls ages 10 to 13 where they can open up to share their accomplishments, their struggles, their goals and most importantly who they are in a judgment-free environment. From 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. starting Tuesday.
Register for the Girls Softball Development Program for ages 8 to 14, Sunday’s from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Willi Krause Fieldhouse. Coaches from Thunder Fastpitch deliver training in a positive, structured environment designed to help girls become better ball players.
Gentle Hatha Yoga classes with Jana Roy runs Tuesday mornings from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the Trail Memorial Centre.
Morning Badminton is offered every Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. at the Trail Memorial Centre.
Evening Badminton is also offered two days per week, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 8:15 to 10:15 p.m. at the Willi Krause Fieldhouse. Drop in is available.
30-Minute Circuit classes run Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 to 9 a.m. at the Trail Memorial Centre Fitness Studio. Instructor Diana Howard will guide you through a simple yet challenging circuit.
Mom and Baby fitness classes run Thursday’s from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m. starting Jan. 24 to Feb. 28. A very enjoyable way to learn how to exercise with your baby, and a great way to meet other moms.
Boot Camp runs Thursday’s from 5-6 p.m. at the Trail Memorial Centre Fitness Studio. These classes combine weight exercises, interval training and strength training to keep the heart pumping and burn some calories.
Boomer Fit classes for adult to seniors with Lynn Kenneway run Monday and Wednesday from 9-10 a.m. This class is for all levels.
