Little Mountain rolls to BC Little League title

The Canadian Little League championship goes in Calgary from Aug. 4-13

 

The Trail U18 Orioles finished third in the BC Minor Baseball College Prep provincials on the weekend. This generation of Orioles graduating players has formed the core of Trail’s baseball teams over the years including the ones that placed third in Minors Little League provincials, runner up in BC Majors Little League, second in 13-year-old Spokane American Legion, won the ‘A’ Washington State Championship and had back-to-back third place finishes at the BC Minor College Prep playoffs. The Trail Red Sox won the Trail Youth Baseball title with a 4-0 victory over the Trail Mariners on Wednesday at Butler Park. The Red Sox line up: Jim Maniago (coach), Scott Mclaren, Dallas Maximick, Christian Gould, Joel Smyth, Logan Bradford, Jacob Smith, Judah Makway, Jake Maniago, Landon Uzeloc and Finn Johnson.
